UCEED 2025: Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay conducts UCEED under the direction of the UCEED Admissions Committee 2025. The online application will be welcomed on the official gateway of IIT Bombay.

Till 2016, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur offered admission to applicants in BDes programs on the premise of a UCEED score. In any case, from 2017 onwards two more universities, i.e. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) and Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar likewise began tolerating UCEED scores for affirmation.

Application forms for UCEED 2025 will be available online from 1st October 2024 onwards. The entrance test will be computer-based and will be held on 19th January 2025.

UCEED 2025 application form will be released on 1st October 2024. Candidates have to complete the following steps to successfully apply for UCEED 2025:

Step 1: UCEED 2025 online registration

Step 2: Fill up of personal details, academic qualifications, exam city choices etc in the UCEED application form.

Step 3: Uploading scanned copies of colored passport-sized photographs, signatures, reserved category documents, qualifying examination certificates, etc.

Step 4:  Payment of the requisite application fee in online mode.

UCEED 2025 Eligibility

Age Limit: The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1994 if belonging to the OPEN or OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1989, if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

Number of Attempts:

A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. Note that UCEED score is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the corresponding academic year.

Qualifying Examination:

The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2019, OR appearing in 2025. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible

UCEED 2025 Exam Pattern

• There will be ONE question paper for 3 hours duration.
• The question paper will be in English.
• The question paper will be administered through a computer-based test.
• The question paper will carry a total of 300 marks.
• The question paper will consist of 3 sections.

Section A– Numerical Answer Type (NAT)

UCEED 2025 Admit Cards

• Candidates who will complete all the aspects of the application form will be issued UCEED 2025 admit card on 3rd January 2025.
• The admit card will bear the following details of the candidate: Name, UCEED registration ID, Roll Number for UCEED 2025, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination center details, and instructions to candidates.
• Candidates should carefully examine the entries in the admit card and in case of any discrepancy, contact the Chairman, JEE (Advanced), UCEED & CEED 2025 at IIT Bombay before the date mentioned in the registration portal.
• A printed copy of the downloaded admits card should be produced at the time of examination.

UCEED 2025 Results

• The result of UCEED 2025 will be declared on March 2025. UCEED results will be available on the website. Candidates need to use their user login and password (created during the registration process) for viewing the results on the webpage.
• UCEED-qualified students will be able to download their scorecards from 1st March 2025.
• A hard copy of the UCEED scorecard will not be available and hence will not be sent to the qualified candidates.
• Obtaining a rank in UCEED 2025 does not guarantee admission to the B. Des program.

UCEED 2025 Counselling

• The counselling and seat allotment of UCEED will be conducted in three rounds. To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to register for admission which will start from June 8 to 23, 2025.
• Candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank, category, choice preference, and availability of seats. Students shortlisted for admission will be sent a provisional allotment letter to the registered email ID.
• Candidates who have been offered seats have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 60,000 within the given period of time.

UCEED 2025 Preparation Tips

Candidates who haven’t started their preparation still have enough time to kick-start it and get ready to score well in the exam. Here are a few tips for UCEED exam preparation in 2025:

• Manage your time effectively. Remember time once gone cannot be returned. So make sure you don’t waste even a single minute on unnecessary activities.
• Make a study schedule and follow it strictly. It will help you distribute your time well for all topics and other activities.
