The KIITEE (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination) is a university-level entrance exam conducted by KIIT, deemed to be University, in Bhubaneswar every year. KIITEE  2026 – Online Registration:

KIITEE is conducted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Deemed to be University. This exam is for those aspirants who are seeking admission to the following programs listed below.

  • 4 Year Under Graduate Program in B. Tech can be pursued by the candidates.
  • Candidates can also pursue 2-year full time PG programs in M. Tech.

KIITEE  2026 Notification:

KIITEE  2026 will be conducted in two phases. The online application submissions for Phase I will be starting on 11th November 2025 and 1st week of April 2026 for Phase II. The last date for the submission of online applications is 8th April 2026 (Phase I) and 8th June 2026 (Phase II). KIITEE exam will be conducted for Phase I in 16th April – 20th April 2026 and 14th June – 18th June 2026 for Phase II.

KIITEE  2026 Application Form:

  • Candidates need to visit the official KIITEE website – kiitee.kiit.ac.in.
  • Candidates will then have to register themselves with their email and phone number.
  • In the next step, candidates need to fill in their personal, academic, and contact details.
  • Upload required documents such as recent photograph, signature, and 10th mark sheet (in specified formats).

Requirements:

Steps to Apply for KIITEE  2026:

Online Mode:

  • Candidates need to visit the official website in the KIITEE portal – kiitee.kiit.ac.in to access the online application form.
  • Candidates need to register themselves by using their valid email address and mobile number to create a login account for the application process.
  • Candidates need to enter their personal information, academic qualifications, and contact details accurately in the application form.
  • Upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and 10th mark sheet or certificate in the specified formats and file sizes.
  • Candidates need to carefully check all the entered information and uploaded documents. One must ensure that everything is correct, as no correction window is provided after submission.
  • Finalize and submit the application online. There is no application fee for KIITEE 2026.
  • After successful submission, candidates can download and print the completed application form for their records and future correspondence.

KIITEE  2026 Eligibility Criteria:

4 Year Under Graduate Program (B. Tech), and 2 years Post Graduate Program (M. Tech):

  • Candidates must be qualified in 10+2 (Class 12) or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Subjects Required (B. Tech):Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 10+2.
  • Minimum Marks:A minimum aggregate of 60% aggregate marks is required in Class 10+2 for B. Tech programs.
  • Age Limit:Candidates must be born on or after 1st July 2004.
  • Nationality:Both Indian and international candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Final Year Candidates:Those appearing for their Class 10+2 exams in 2026 may also apply, but must provide proof of passing at the time of admission.
  • Reservation:Reserved seats for SC (15%), ST (7.5%), and differently-abled (3%) candidates, as per university policy.
  • Other UG Programs:For B. Arch, candidates need a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

KIITEE  2026 Exam Pattern:

  1. The exam will be conducted in an online computer – based mode.
  2. The exam will consist of 120 questions and will be MCQ (Multiple-Choice-Questions) based with a total of 480 marks.
  3. The exam will consist of three sections – Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (40 questions), and Mathematics (40 questions). Each section will carry a total of 160 marks.
  4. The duration for the test will be of 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes).
  5. There will be negative marking (-1) for any incorrect answers and 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. No marks will be deducted for un attempted questions.
  6. The medium of language will be in English only.

KIITEE  2026 Admit Card:

  1. Candidates will be provided with admit cards for the KIITEE 2026 exam right after slot booking for Phase I and in the 3rd week of May 2026 (Phase II).
  2. Admit card is mandatory without which no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam.
  3. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets/admit cards from the official website – kiit.ac.in by providing their credential.

Scholarship Details:

KIITEE provides Merit Scholarship to it students. Following is the list of some of the scholarship criteria under which candidates can avail financial aid.

  • Full Tuition Waiver:The topper of KIITEE (B. Tech) receives free education at KIIT.
  • Merit Scholarships:Top 1,000 rank holders in KIITEE (B. Tech) are eligible for scholarships during their study period, provided they maintain a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Other Major Scholarships:

  • Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW):For BPL card holders, up to 5% of sanctioned intake in B. Tech; waiver applies only to tuition fees.
  • KIIT Merit Scholarship:Awarded to university toppers of each semester for six months.
  • International Scholarship:2 students per country get full tuition waivers, 10 get half waivers; 100 scholarships available in total.
  • Teaching Assistantship:For M. Tech students, allows earning while gaining teaching/research experience.
  • Contingency Fund:INR 50,000 for full-time PhD and M. Tech students.
  • PhD Scholarship:INR 20,000 per month for full-time PhD students.
  • Other Financial Support:Includes state and national scholarships such as Post Matric Scholarships, e-Medhabruti, and various central sector schemes.
  • Coverage:Scholarships may include tuition, hostel, mess, books, and ancillary expenses, depending on the scheme.

KIITEE  2026 Results:

KIITEE  2026 results will be announced by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in the 4th week of April 2026 (Phase I) and 4th week of May 2026 (Phase II), i.e. after the KIITEE  2026 exam is conducted in two Phases, 16th April – 20th April 2026 (Phase I) and 14th June – 18th June 2026 (Phase II).

The results and cut-off marks will be released online. The cut-off in general varies by respective institute and course, and only candidates meeting or exceeding the cut-offs are eligible for the next stage i.e. counselling.

KIITEE  2026 Selection Process:

  • Candidates will be able to check their KIITEE 2026 results online by entering their application number and date of birth on the official website.
  • Separate merit lists are prepared for each course based on marks secured in the entrance examination.
  • Qualified candidates need to register for the counselling process online within the stipulated dates.
  • Candidates can fill and lock their choices for preferred courses and branches during the online counselling window.
  • Provisional branch/seat allotment results are also announced as per the schedule. Therefore, candidates must check their allotment status online.
  • Candidates who are allotted seats must report for document verification (with original documents) and pay the admission fee within the specified window to confirm their admission.
  • The reporting date and time for admission are notified via the official website, email, or SMS.

KIITEE  2026 Instructions:

  1. Candidates should upload their photograph and signature with the preferred size in the portal which should be clearly visible.
  2. Candidates need to carry their admit card/hall ticket to the exam centre. Candidates will be prohibited from entering the exam hall without this document.
  3. Candidates will also be required to carry a valid ID proof such as – Voter ID Card/ Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License, etc.
  4. It is advisable for all candidates to enter the designated exam hall before time for a smooth security process before the beginning of exam.
  5. Any candidate violating the rules will be strictly dealt as per the norms of the exam centre.
  6. Any candidate pursuing any unfair means in the exam hall will be dealt with as per the rules and regulations of the test centre.
