Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) Himachal Pradesh Technical University conducts a State Level Entrance Test for applicants intrigued to looking for admission to B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda), M.Pharmacy, MCA and MBA Programs. Registration: The applicants will have to register themselves for the HPCET 2025 examination. The name, user name, password, date of birth, email id, and mobile number of the candidate has to be submitted. The application form number will be generated and displayed on the screen. The user name and application number will also be sent to the registered email id of the candidates.
Filling of Application Form: The user name, password, and application number have to be used for login. The candidates will have to fill in their personal, academic, and contact information.
Uploading of Scanned Documents: Next, the candidates will have to upload scanned images of their recent photograph and signature. The scanned images should be according to the specifications mentioned by the admission authorities.
Confirmation: In this step, the candidates will be able to recheck the information that they have submitted. Editing of the submitted information will be allowed. After checking and making the required changes, the candidates will have to update the information and click on “Submit and go to payment”.
Payment of Fees: Finally, the candidates will have to pay the required application fees. Payment can be done in both offline (PNB challan) and online mode (net banking/ credit card/ debit card). The application form will not be accepted if the fees are not paid.
Eligibility Criteria HPCET 2025 is a set of conditions required by HPTU in order to consider candidates eligible for appearing in the entrance test for admissions to various engineering colleges of the state. All candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the norms of AICTE for appearing in HPCET 2025 before they start filling out the online application form for the entrance exam.

The admit card of HPCET 2025 will be released for all registered candidates tentatively in the first week of May 2025. HPCET 2025 admit card, which will be available in online mode, is an important document that the candidates will have to carry to the examination venue.
The official result of HPCET 2025 will be announced tentatively in the last week of May 2025. The candidates will be able to check their results by logging in using their HPCET 2025 roll number or name. The section-wise and total secured marks will be available in HPCET 2025 results. The result will also be available in the notice board of the University.
Those candidates whose names are listed in the official merit list will be required to register themselves for the counseling session. While registering, the candidates will have to select their preferred choice of course and institute. The registration fees also have to be paid by the candidates. 50% of the seats will be filled by JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates and the remaining 50% of seats will be by HPCET 2025 qualified candidates. Verification of documents will take place. Allotment of seats will be done according to the ranking and preference of the candidates.
