Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design, commonly known as UCEED is an all-India level entrance examination required for admission to undergraduate courses in the designing field offered by one of the most prestigious institutes in the country like IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Industrial Design Centre (IDC), IIT Bombay, the conducting body of UCEED, is going to organize UCEED 2025 in 20 cities across the country.

UCEED 2025 Exam Pattern

1. There will be ONE question paper for 3 hours duration.
2. The question paper will be in English.
3. The question paper will be administered through a computer-based test.
4. The question paper will carry a total of 300 marks.

The question paper will consist of 3 sections.

Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions:

• The answer will be a number that needs to be entered using a virtual keyboard.
• No choices will be provided for these questions.
• Each question carries 4 marks.
• There is no negative marking for these questions.

Multiple Select Questions (MSQ):

• Each MSQ has one or more right answers from the four given choices.
• The candidate gets 4 marks only if every correct choice is selected and no wrong choice is selected.
• There is no negative marking for this section.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ):

• Each MCQ will have four choices out of which the candidates have to select one.
• There are negative marks for this section.
• Each right answer will be awarded 3 marks and each wrong answer will be awarded a negative one.
• Questions not attempted will be given zero marks.
