- Mock tests are the best boosters to evaluate one's standard of preparedness.
- Sectional mock tests and complete mock tests prepare a candidate for an online exam environment.
- Accuracy with high speed can be achieved only with an ample number of mock tests.
- Attempting a good number of mock tests is the most recommended final preparation tip for the XAT exam
More focus on difficult topics
- Students from non-mathematics backgrounds should focus on higher mathematics concepts like trigonometry, probability, algebra, permutations and combinations etc., to give a good competition to students with a mathematics background.
- General Knowledge is a scoring topic if the candidate is well prepared with current affairs and general awareness in the XAT exam. Reading a prominent daily newspaper and weekly or monthly magazines, followed by collecting important current affairs and vocabulary helps a candidate to gain in both - English vocabulary and general knowledge.
- ‘Decision making’ is an exclusive topic of the XAT exam, which is meant to test the exam takers’ ability to problem-solve in a limited period of time. Decision-making questions are posed to examine how a candidate uses his ethics and morals in problem-solving and his understanding of the contemporary world and business affairs. Decision-making questions are given in both mathematics and reasoning topics.
- As there is no essay writing task with this year's exam pattern, it gives candidates little more time to spend on other important topics.
Health is a key factor
- Taking a healthy diet and doing minor workouts keep a person healthy enough to face any test easily.
- Spending time with hobbies like music, solving puzzles, and meditation keeps one’s mind active, which helps the candidate to make quick and right choices in the examination.
- Good amount of rest and ample sleeping hours is necessary for any student who prepares for competitive exams, which boosts and renews his energy for further preparation.
