MICAT syllabus has been formulated after analyzing the previous year’s question papers. MICAT syllabus 2024 comprises important topics from Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QADI), General awareness (GA), and Divergent and Convergent Thinking (DCT). MICAT syllabus for Psychometric Test
Psychometric test analyze the behavioural and characteristic traits of the candidates. As per last year’s question paper, this section carried a total of 35 questions. The Psychometric Test comprises Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and it is mandatory for the candidates to answer all the questions. The psychometric test basically includes three types of questions. They can be statement-based questions that do not have any correct or incorrect answers. Candidates can select from options like Strongly Agree, Strongly Disagree and Moderately Agree among others. The test can also include questions based on personality traits where students can select any one of the given options. Further, Psychometric tests include questions where students have to rank their answers on a scale in order of their priority.
MICAT syllabus for Verbal Ability
Verbal ability comprises questions based on English usage or grammar, Sentence correction, Synonyms and antonyms, Fill-in-the-blanks, Analogies, Idioms, One-word substitution, and Jumbled paragraphs. The questions might be moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty. In order to secure good marks in these sections, candidates should read newspapers, and magazines and learn their basic grammar and vocabulary from the high school English book.

MICAT 2024 Preparation Tips
- Aspirants should formulate a timetable and stick to it. Divide time equally in each section - VA, QA, GA, DCR and Psychometric test.
- Practice by solving MICAT sample papers and previous year's questions since it will help candidates to get an idea of the question pattern and difficulty level. Besides it will improve the candidates’ ability to solve questions in the exam.
