The first and second phases of the exam, which will be administered by Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, are scheduled for December 2 and January 27, respectively. The MICAT Entrance Exam 2024 is conducted by the Mudra Institute of Communication located in Ahmedabad.
This exam is conducted twice a year for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management Courses/ PGDM Communication (PGDM/ PGDM-C). The registration deadline for the first phase of the MICAT 2024 exam is November 20 for candidates hoping to be admitted to MICA's PGDM program. The MICAT 2024 admission card will be issued to those who complete the form by November 20. MICAT 2 registration opens on November 23 for candidates. Until January 16, candidates can fill out the MICAT 2 application form. All applicants under the second exam phase will get the admit card to appear for the exam on January 24.

Qualification: He/ She must possess a Bachelor's degree (10+2+3) in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Exam: Candidates must have XAT, CAT or GMAT exams.

The minimum score needed by candidates to advance to the GE and PI rounds of MICAT Entrance Exam 2024 is known as the MICAT 2024 cut-off. The MICA shortlist for GE and PI will be made available on its official website on February 15, 2024. On December 21, 2023, the scorecard for MICAT-1 will be made accessible, and on February 15, 2024, the scorecard for MICAT-2.
For PGDM-C, MICA does not announce an official cutoff. The composite score which is determined by adding up the scores from the CAT, XAT, and GMAT will be used to make the final decision. It will consist of 20% group exercise, 30% personal interview, and 30% MICAT. The MICAT Cutoff 2024 could be in the 45–47 range. The expected MICAT Cutoff 2024 is given below:

The MICAT call letters, or admit cards, are distributed by MICA, Ahmedabad three to four days before the exam date. Applicants who complete the MICAT application form may obtain their call letters to show up for the test. Important details including the exam date, location, time, and duration are included on the MICAT 2024 admit card, along with instructions for the day of the exam. The three examinations included in the MICAT 2024 syllabus are Psychometric Test, Descriptive Test, and Aptitude Test. There are particular topics and questions for each section. A candidate's behavioural and psychological characteristics are evaluated by the psychometric test, and their writing abilities are assessed by the descriptive test. The official MICAT website, https://www.mica.ac.in/, is where applicants can check their scores using the login credentials they created upon enrollment. The results of the two exam phases of MICAT 2024 are made available separately. On December 21, 2023, the MICAT 2024 Results for MICAT-I will be made public. The results are made public twice a year, following the GE & PI Round and the entrance exam. The outcome will be made available as a scorecard.
The date of the MICAT-II Results announcement is February 15, 2024. The MICAT-II result is released in an online format. Students who pass the written exam will be eligible to participate in the interview phase. During the first week of April 2024, the interview's outcome will be announced.

Ques.1 How many times a year is the MICAT exam held?
Ans. During one admission cycle, MICA administers the MICAT twice. Candidates can attempt for either of the exams taken during the selection procedure, the institute takes into account the best of two scores. The MICAT score, however, is only valid for a single admission cycle. To be considered for admission in the PGDM batch 2024–2026 candidates need to apply for MICAT 2024.
Ques.2 What does MICAT's psychometric test entail?
Ans. There is a Psychometric Test section in MICA that evaluates their psychological and behavioural characteristics Before a candidate takes the aptitude test in the MICAT exam, the MICAT Psychometric Test is used by the institute to assess a candidate's suitability for the program. In the Psychometric Test portion, there could be two or more true or false alternatives for the questions. Each candidate's marked answers will be used to analyze whether or not they are qualified to continue with the MICA PGDM program.
There is no pass/fail test for the psychometric portion of the MICAT. Candidates who score poorly in this section, however, are not considered for further MICAT exam sections.
Ques.3 What are the time limits given to the students for completing the MICAT 2024?
Ans. Candidates will be provided with a total time limit of 165 minutes (Two Hours and Forty- five minutes).
Ques.4 Is there any negative marking in the MICAT exam?
Ans. The MICAT exam has no negative marking in Sections A or B, but Section C includes a 0.25 negative mark for each incorrect answer. Questions that are not attempted receive no marks deduction.
Ques.5 Can applicants appear for both MICAT exams?
Ans. Yes, if you meet the requirements, you may take both the MICAT I and II exams. The admission process is based on the better of two scores.
