WBJEE  JELET  2025 Exam Pattern

The WBJEE JELET 2025 exam pattern has been prescribed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The exam will be conducted offline, as a pen and paper-based test (PBT). The question paper will contain 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), for a total of 120 marks. The time given to complete the examination will be 2 hours, i.e., 120 minutes, and the question paper will be in English. The paper will consist of two categories - Category I will have 1 mark questions and Category II will have 2 marks questions.

Marking Scheme

For Category I, each right response will receive one mark. For each incorrect response, ¼ of a mark will be taken off.

For Category II, two marks will be awarded for marking every correct option. Any combination of answers that includes one or more wrong choices will be regarded as incorrect and will result in a zero. The marks given for answers that are only partially correct, or when neither all correct nor any incorrect options are indicated, are calculated as follows: 2 x (number of marked correct options divided by total number of truly correct options).
