Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) JKBOPEE CET is a state-level proficient entrance test. It is the principle leading body for sorting out Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKBOPEE CET). This entrance test is directed for admission to the designing courses offered by schools situated in J&K state.
JKBOPEE CET 2025 will be held in pen and paper-based test mode on April. JKBOPEE CET application form will be available online from March second week, 2025. Before applying for the entrance test candidates must ensure that they fulfill JKBOPEE CET eligibility criteria defined by BOPEE for admission.
Candidates have to follow the procedure to get & fill out the application given below:
Candidates have to check their eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be 17 years completed on or before 31st December 2025.
Qualification Exam: The minimum qualification should be a 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Residential: Candidate must be a permanent citizen of J&K state.
Minimum Marks: Candidates have to score the minimum 50% marks (40% for the reserved category candidates).
Subjects: For engineering courses, candidates have to qualify for their 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM & English.
Mode of Exam: Offline mode (pen-paper based).
No. of Papers: The examination will consist of two papers each of the PCM and PCB group.
No. of Questions: 60 questions will be asked per subject.
Type of Questions: The question paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
Marking Scheme: One mark will be allotted to the candidates for correct answers.
Negative Marking: There is a negative marking for each wrong choice. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

JKBOPEE CET Syllabus includes topics from the CBSE syllabus of Class XI and XII. The topics and their weightage in the exam is set by J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JAKBOPEE). Here are the details of chapter wise weightage of each subject in JKBOPEE CET:
JKBOPEE CET Syllabus for Physics includes 20 chapters having a weightage of 60 marks in the exam. According to the analysis, the highest weightage of 8 marks was given to Optics. The other important topics include the Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Oscillations and Waves and Electronic Devices.
JKBOPEE CET Syllabus for Chemistry comprises 21 chapters from Class XI and XII syllabi of CBSE. It carries a weightage of 60 marks. The important topics in this section are Chemical Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Chemical Bonding, and Coordination Compounds. CHECK JKBOPEE CET PAPER ANALYSIS
JKBOPEE CET Syllabus for Mathematics includes 10 chapters from Class XI and XII CBSE Syllabus with a weightage of 60 marks. Important topics from this section include Limit, Continuity and Differentiation, Integration, Statistics, Vectors, Probability, and Differential Equations.
JKBOPEE CET Syllabus for Biology includes 14 chapters from the CBSE Syllabus of Class XI and XII. It carries a weightage of 60 marks. The important topics are Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Reproduction Ecology, and Environment.
JKBOPEE CET 2025 Result will be published only through online mode in the 3rd week of May 2025.
On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam, the merit list will be prepared.
The merit list will be prepared separately in descending order for the general merit category & for another category.
