Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. Visit the Official AIMA MAT Website

  • The first step is to visit the official AIMA website – mat.aima.in where registration links are made available. All application activities—including downloads and payments—are completed online, with no offline forms accepted.
  1. Registration

  • Click the “Register” button on the website to begin your application.
  • Enter basic details: Full name, valid email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender, state, city, and password.
  • Verify your email ID and mobile number via OTP for account activation.
  1. Filling the Application Form

  • Log in using the credentials created during registration.
  • Carefully fill in your personal, educational, and contact details.
  • Select your preferred exam city and mode (Paper-Based Test, Computer-Based Test, or both).
  • Indicate management institute choices (for score reporting), if required.
  1. Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies of the following, as per specified formats:

  • Recent passport-sized photograph
  • Signature
  • Category certificate (if applicable).
  1. Payment of Application Fee

Pay the application fee online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm wallet.

MAT 2026 fee structure

  • Single mode (PBT or CBT):INR 2,200
  • Both PBT & CBT:INR 3,800
  • Additional Management Institutes (MI): INR 118 per MI.

Upon successful payment, save the transaction details for future reference.

  1. Submission of Application

  • Double-check all details before submitting.
  • Confirm submission and print a copy of the application form for your records. Except for Name, DOB, Email, and Mobile Number, most fields can be edited even after submission.
  1. Admit Card Download

  • Once confirmed, candidates will receive an email with their application number.
  • Admit card will be downloadable a few weeks before the exam, using login credentials.
