GATE 2025 Application Form

GATE 2025 application forms are available from 24th August 2022. Candidates have to fill the application form in online mode only. Registration is required to fill out the application form. All the details related to GATE 2025 registration, application form and GATE 2025 application fee payment options are given in this article. Last date for GATE 2025 application form submission is 13th October 2022.

GATE 2025 Registration

Pre-requisites:

• Valid e-mail address
• Mobile Number
• Provide a valid e-mail address and mobile number as all communications from Gate offices will be sent through e-mail or SMS to your given e-mail id and mobile number.
• Only one person can register with one e-mail address.
• While enrolment or registration, the candidate chooses a password (GOAPS password). The password should be remembered to login to GOAPS. Ensure that the password is strong enough.
•  Once the registration is completed, an e-mail containing the GOAPS Enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate.

Documents and Data required for filling out GATE Application form 2025:

1) Personal information (name, date of birth, your personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc.)

2) Full and Complete Address for Communication along with PIN Code.

3) Eligibility degree as applicable scanned with size between 10-300 kb in pdf, upload only one page of any one document, only issued by the college/Institute/University

Candidates with backlog papers are also eligible

4) For Engineering Degree completed certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course completion certificate/8^th Semester mark sheet/7th-semester mark sheet/6th-semester mark sheet/Pre-final year mark sheet in case of integrated degree/AMIE and similar- completed/Completed one section/Provisional Certificate Letter (as in Brochure)

5) For Science Degree- Degree completed certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course completion certificate/4^th Semester mark sheet/3rd-semester mark sheet/2nd-semester mark sheet/1st-year mark sheet/Pre-final year mark sheet in case of integrated degree/Provisional Certificate Letter (as in Brochure)

6) College address, PIN code of college

7) GATE paper, choice of GATE examination cities

8) Quality Scanned image of your photograph (5-200 kb in jpeg/jpg)

9) Quality Scanned image of your signature (5-150 kb in jpeg/jpg)

10) Quality Scanned image of your thumb impression (2-150 kb in jpeg/jpg)

11) Scanned copy of Category: SC/ST/PwD Certificate (10-300 kb in pdf)

12) ID Proof: Passport/PAN Card/Voter ID/Aadhaar UID/Driving License/College ID/Employee ID card

13) Bank details for application fees (not necessary for challan payment)

GATE 2025 Application Form

Apply Online:

1. Login using the GOAPS enrolment ID and password created from registration.
2. The candidate has to fill the application form with authentic information, else results in rejection of the application/registration.
3. While filling out the application form candidate has to choose a city as an exam centre.
4. The candidate has to choose the test paper to which he/she wants to appear.
5. Upload the necessary documents along with a photograph and signature/thumb impression as per the given instructions.

Payment Options:

The payment of the application fee is of two modes

1. i) Electronic Mode: Net Banking, Debit Card
2. ii) E-challan Mode: At Bank Counters using e-challan

E-challan mode: If e-challan mode is selected, you have to print the generated challan and pay the application fee through any of the State Bank of India branches.

Electronic Mode: Online Net Banking or Debit Card Banking

1. You will be redirected from the Gate Application to the payment page of the bank of your choice.
2. The GATE 2025 Fee amount and the bank charges are shown to you and then you have to confirm the payment for Gate 2025.
3. Once the payment is successful, you are redirected back to the Gate Application Website.
4. If you are not sure whether payment is successful or not due to poor internet connection or power failures, log in to GOAPS and check the status of your payment.
5. If the fee amount is debited from your bank account and GOAPS does not acknowledge your payment, in such cases the money will be credited back to your account within seven working days.
6. In the above case, you have to initiate a fresh payment using GOAPS without waiting for the money to be credited back to your account.
7. A “Fee Payment Number” is generated on successful payment which is unique and MUST be saved by the candidate to use in later stages of the Gate 2025 application form.
