CEED 2025 Exam Pattern
CEED 2025 is an entrance exam every year for interested candidates to get admission in the Master's in Design (M.Des) courses at some of India's top institutes. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay conducts the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) every year. CEED 2025 will be a computer-based test (CBT) where candidates will be asked questions in two parts. As per the CEED exam pattern 2025, Part A will have 45 objective-type questions of 100 marks while Part B will have 8 descriptive answer-type questions of 100 marks. Candidates will get 3 hours where Part A will be of one hour and Part B will be of two hours duration.
The CEED 2025 exam is conducted in two parts, A (Computer-based) and B (Pen and paper mode)
CEED 2025 PART A Details
- Part A contains a total of 50 questions.
- The section carries a total of 100 marks.
- Part A is divided into 3 sections in which MCQ/MSQ and NAT based questions are asked from the candidate.
- The time devoted to attempting Part A is from 10.00 hours to 11:00 hours on the day of the exam.

CEED 2025 PART B Details
- Part B of CEED 2025 is of 2 hours duration.
- This section is pen and paper-based examination.
- Only candidates who clear Part-A of CEED 2025 will be eligible for evaluation of Part-B (10x of the number of seats available).
- The candidates have to attempt drawing-based questions and writing skills based questions in this section.
- The total for Part-B of CEED 2025 is 100 marks.
