CAT 2025 Examination Pattern
CAT 2025 is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for selecting students into business management PG programs every year. CAT Exam is a prerequisite for admission in various management programs offered by various colleges across India. CAT 2025 Online application forms will be available on official website.
CAT 2025 Exam Pattern
- The duration of CAT 2025 is for 120 minutes (2 hours).
- Computer Based Test (CBT), but not on-line mode.
- Total 66 questions which are divided into 3 Sections as mentioned below:
- Section 1: VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension for a duration of 40 minutes.
- Section 2: DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning) for a duration of 40 minutes.
- Section 3: QA (Quantitative Analysis) for a duration of 40 minutes.
- CAT 2025 questions are divided into two types viz., Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and non-Multiple Choice of Questions (non-MCQs).
- Out Of 66 questions, 18 to 20 questions are of Non-Multiple Choice (Non-MCQs) type of Questions (Type in the answer) (in short TITA) and do not carry any negative marking.
- Out of 66 Questions, 48 to 50 questions are of Multiple Choice of Questions (MCQs) and carry a penalty of 1/3rd negative making for every wrong answer.
