JUN's B.Sc. programs having specialization in mathematics (hons), microbiology, and biotechnology are designed to give students a solid understanding of their field along with practical experience. JNU provides a professional and supportive academic environment regardless of your goals for research, industry, teaching, or further education.

Campus Facilities: Each program has its own well equiped labs and smart classrooms. Modern molecular biotechnology labs, microbiology labs, biochemistry units, and equipped with autoclaves, laminar flow hoods, spectrophotometers, and other equipment are available to help students studying biotechnology and microbiology. Students studying mathematics (Hons.) have computational labs, smart classrooms, and mathematical modeling software that facilities both theoretical and applied learning. To support the research and relevant studies, all students have access to the central library, e-journals, and digital resources also.

Campus Life: Hostel facilities on campus with Wi-Fi connectivity, hygienic mess food, laundary, 24/7 security, and medical assistance are offered to the students. The campus is peaceful with a study-oriented atmosphere appropriate for science students, clubs, cultural activities, and extracurricular learning.

Faculty: All departments have highly qualified teachers, many of whom are researchers and PhD holders. They also help students outside of the classroom for projects, competitive exams(like JAM and CUET PG), or research article. Interactive classes, seminars, presentations, and lab sessions are all part of the teaching process.

Placements: Career counseling services like resume workshops, soft skill development, and internship facilitation are offered by JNU's Training and Placement Cell. Biotech and Microbiology students can opt for jobs in research laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, food & dairy, clinical labs, or pursue M.Sc or research-oriented courses. Math(Hons.) students are equipped for data analysis, teaching, actuarial science, banking or higher studies. B.Sc courses being more academic in orientation, JNU promotes internships, industrial visits, and live projects to develop employable skills.
