The faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable, providing guidance both inside and outside the classroom. Labs are well-equipped, and practical sessions are conducted effectively, reinforcing theoretical concepts. The college promotes a learning culture through hackathons, coding competitions, and technical clubs like GDSC, Code Warriors, and AI-ML clubs, which provide exposure to real-world problem-solving and innovation. Placements at KIET are promising, with top companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini visiting the campus. There is a strong emphasis on coding skills, and students are encouraged to participate in platforms like LeetCode, CodeChef, and Hackerrank to enhance their problem-solving abilities. Internship opportunities are also available, helping students gain industry exposure early in their academic journey. The college conducts regular training sessions for placement preparation, covering aptitude, soft skills, and technical interviews. The infrastructure is commendable, with a well-maintained library, modern classrooms, high-speed internet, and hostel facilities. The campus provides a comfortable environment for learning and personal development. However, there are areas for improvement, such as increasing industry collaborations and more hands-on projects in the curriculum to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements. Some courses could also include more practical exposure to the latest technologies like AI, blockchain, and cloud computing. Overall, KIET provides a great learning environment for CSE students, balancing academics, skill development, and career opportunities. With the right effort and participation in available resources, students can make the most of their time here and prepare well for future careers in tech.

Campus Facilities: KIET provides well-maintained on-campus hostel facilities for both boys and girls, with different occupancy options like single, double, and triple-sharing rooms. The hostels are equipped with essential amenities such as study tables, wardrobes, comfortable bedding, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The security and discipline in hostels are strictly maintained, ensuring a safe and peaceful living environment for students. The hostel also has recreational areas and common rooms where students can relax and socialize. The food quality at KIET is quite satisfactory, with a well-managed mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals. The menu is diverse, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and changes periodically to avoid monotony. Apart from the mess, there are multiple cafeterias and food courts on campus where students can enjoy snacks, beverages, and fast food at reasonable prices. The canteens maintain hygiene standards and offer a comfortable place for students to take breaks between classes. The campus infrastructure is modern and well-equipped to support academic and extracurricular activities. Classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and have smart boards and projectors for interactive learning. The labs are well-furnished with the latest hardware and software required for programming, AI, IoT, and other specialized fields. High-speed internet is available across the campus, ensuring that students can access online resources without interruptions. The library is one of the most resourceful places, offering a vast collection of books, research papers, journals, and digital resources. It also provides a peaceful study environment and computer systems for online research. Banking and financial services are conveniently available on campus, with an ATM facility ensuring that students have easy access to cash withdrawals. A dedicated branch of a nationalized bank operates within the campus, making it easier for students to manage their financial transactions. For students who prefer off-campus stay options, numerous PGs and rental accommodations are available near the college. These accommodations vary in pricing and facilities, offering alternatives for those who seek independent living. The surrounding area has various eateries, grocery stores, and other essentials, making it convenient for students staying outside the campus. Campus Life: One of the best events at KIET’s annual fest "EPOQUE" is "Battle of Bands." It stands out as the most electrifying event, bringing together talented musicians from various colleges to compete in an intense and high-energy musical showdown. The event is not just about competition; it's an experience filled with passion, creativity, and sheer musical brilliance. The live performances, combined with the roaring crowd, create an unforgettable atmosphere, making it one of the most awaited events every year. The exposure from this event is incredible, as it allows students to showcase their musical talents on a grand stage. Whether as a performer or an audience member, it’s a great opportunity to experience different genres of music, from rock and metal to fusion and indie. The event is judged by professional musicians, giving participants valuable feedback and insights into the music industry. It also serves as a networking platform for budding artists to connect with like-minded musicians and explore future collaborations. Apart from the exposure, the sheer fun and energy of the event make it a must-attend. The electrifying performances, the excitement of competition, and the enthusiastic crowd create a concert-like experience. The adrenaline rush of performing live, cheering for friends, and enjoying high-quality music makes it one of the most thrilling parts of the fest. The lights, the stage setup, and the sheer passion of the performers make Battle of Bands the heart and soul of EPOQUE, making it an event no one wants to miss!

Faculty: One of my favorite faculty members at KIET Group of Institutions is Dr. Harsh Khatter, who teaches Data Structures and Algorithms. His teaching style is highly engaging, making complex topics accessible and fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter. With over 12 years of experience in both academia and research, Dr. Khatter brings valuable practical insights into the classroom, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications. Dr. Khatter holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from AKTU, Lucknow, and has specialized in areas such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Web Information Retrieval, and Content Curation. He has published more than 50 research papers, including 11 in SCIE-indexed journals, and holds over 60 Indian patents, with three technology grants. His extensive research and industry experience enrich his lectures, providing students with current and relevant knowledge. Beyond academics, Dr. Khatter is approachable and encourages students to engage in research and innovative projects. His mentorship has been instrumental in guiding students through complex problem-solving processes and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Placements: KIET Group of Institutions has a strong placement record, with a 91.53% placement rate in 2022-23, where 1,182 B.Tech students secured jobs. Over 370 companies visited the campus, making 2,430 job offers. The highest package offered was INR 48.89 LPA to nine students, while the average package for the top 100 students was INR 17.35 LPA, and the overall median salary stood at INR 4.50 LPA. Major recruiters included Meta, Amazon, Google, Apple, Netflix, Microsoft, Walmart, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Airbus, Samsung, and Tech Mahindra, offering diverse roles across various domains. KIET also provides numerous internship opportunities through its Corporate Relations and Placement Centre (CRPC) to enhance students’ industry exposure and job readiness. Start Up Incubator: Yes, KIET Group of Institutions has a well-established Technology Business Incubator (TBI-KIET), which was set up in 2007 with support from the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) and the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. TBI-KIET aims to foster entrepreneurship by providing resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities to innovative startups. The incubator focuses on domains such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Robotics & Automation, Solar Energy, Automobile, and E-Mobility. Over the years, TBI-KIET has incubated 170 startups, out of which 36 are currently active, making it one of the most successful incubators in technical institutions. The incubator provides financial assistance through various government-supported schemes like NIDHI-PRAYAS, where selected startups can receive prototype grants of up to ?10,00,000. It also offers co-working spaces, state-of-the-art labs, networking events, and access to industry experts and investors. Many startups nurtured at TBI-KIET have gone on to secure funding and scale their businesses successfully. TBI-KIET has received several recognitions, including being ranked 8th among India’s top incubators by the Economic Times in 2011. The incubator regularly conducts workshops, hackathons, and entrepreneurship boot camps to encourage students to develop innovative solutions and transform their ideas into viable businesses. Through collaborations with industry partners, government organizations, and venture capitalists, TBI-KIET ensures that student entrepreneurs get the right guidance and exposure to thrive in the competitive market.
