Earlier known as National Rail and Transportation Institute, our college is the first transport university in the entire India. Also, here we are provided with Rail Engineering specialization in maximum of the branches like ECE, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. We have highly experienced faculties from premier institutions of India like IITs and NITs. The campus is lush green away from the city noises spreading over 55 acres.

Campus Facilities: We are provided with hostel and mess facilities for all the students of all the branches of all years. The first years boys are provided Stanza Living (as of 2024) with double occupancy rooms. The second and third year boys like in the NHSRCL hostel and the fourth year boys live in the Mehmaan hostel. All the girls live in the Pahune hostel present inside the campus. Only the Stanza Living is located outside the campus. Every room has the facilities of air conditioning, geyser, almirahs and beds pre fitted with mattresses. There are common washing machines for all the students in their respective hostels. Every classroom, libraries and mess are fully conditioned and there are high quality technologies used in the classrooms like digital projectors and sound system.

Campus Life: Our college has a lush green campus of more than 55 acres full of trees and birds which provide us a decent environment for living and studying. We have three fests in our college - Agnee, Ojasaya and Epitome in which we have a lot of fun.

Faculty: We have two types of faculties - Permanent and Visiting. All the permanent faculties have a PhD from IITs and NITs. Our visiting faculties are currently teaching the students of premier institutions like NIT Surat, IIT Madras and IIT Delhi.

Placements: Our colleges compulsorily provides an internship three times in second, third and fourth year. In second year we get to work as an intern with Indian Railways and in the third and fourth year, we intern in PSUs and reputed private companies. Regarding placements, 92% students got placed from the Civil Engineering branch and 88% students got placed from the ECE branch in the year 2024. Only two branches students got graduated in 2024. PSUs and many big companies come in our campus for placements.
