However, there are areas for improvement, such as hostel facilities and the need for more emphasis on extracurricular activities. My advice to aspirants would be to make the most of the opportunities available, both academically and socially, and to actively engage in all aspects of college life for a fulfilling experience.

The food quality in the hostel is decent, with a variety of options to choose from. Additionally, the campus has modern amenities such as sports facilities, including a gymnasium and outdoor sports grounds, providing students with opportunities for physical activities and recreation. Off-campus, there are several options for accommodation, including rental apartments and paying guest accommodations, in the nearby areas of Kondhwa and Katraj. These areas offer a range of amenities and are conveniently located near the college. Overall, VIIT Pune provides a conducive environment for learning and growth, both academically and personally.

One of the highlights is the annual cultural fest, Gandharva, which is the best event of the college fest. Gandharva is renowned for its grandeur and diversity, attracting participants from across the country. It also includes competitive events, celebrity performances, and cultural showcases, offering a mix of exposure and entertainment. Gandharva not only enhances the cultural vibrancy of the campus but also fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among students.

One of my favorite faculty members is Prof. Sharma, who teaches Computer Science. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science and over 10 years of experience in the industry. Prof. Sharma's teaching style is engaging and insightful, making complex concepts easy to understand. He is always willing to help students and goes above and beyond to ensure their success.

Placements: VIIT Pune has an excellent track record when it comes to internships, placements, and job opportunities. The college has a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to bring reputed companies to campus. In terms of internships, a significant percentage of students secure internships in their third year, with stipends ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 40,000 per month. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and L&T are among the top recruiters for internships. For placements, the college has an impressive placement percentage, with around 85% of eligible students securing job offers. The highest package offered during placements last year was INR 44 lakhs per annum, while the average package was around INR 7.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Accenture are regular recruiters, offering packages ranging from INR 3.5 lakhs to INR 18 lakhs per annum.
