Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has notified about the 13th Medical convocation on October 28, 2023, and 11th Nursing and AHS courses convocation on Ocotber 29, 2023.
"The 13th Convocation (Medical) for PhD, DM/M.Ch., PDF/PDCC, M.D./M.S./M.D.S, MBBS courses of JIPMER is scheduled on October 28, 2023, at 9:30 am, and the convocation (Nursing and AHS courses) for M.P.H, M.Sc. (Nursing)/M.SC., (AHS), PBDN, PGD, B.Sc. (Nursing)/B.Sc.(AHS)/BASLP courses of JIPMER is scheduled on October 29, 2023, at 9:30 am, in Dr APJ Abdul Kalam JIPMER Auditorium, Puducherry," reads the official notification.
The rehearsal for the convocation procedure will be held on Ocotober 27, 2023, at 2:30 pm for 13th convocation (medical) and on October 28, 2023 at 3 pm for 11th convocation (Nursing and AHS courses) at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam JIPMER Auditorium. Only those students who will be present during the rehearsal will be allowed to receive their degrees during the convocation.
Candidates should remit convocation fees of INR 1500 (Through SBI collect - JIPMER - Academic Fee - PHD MSC MPH BSC BASLP PBDN - Convocation Fee) and send the duly filled convocation application form along with the receipt of payment (hard copy) by post to "The Assistant Registrar, Academic section, JIPMER, Dhanvantari Nagar, Puducherry - 605006," on or before September 20, 2023. A soft copy of the same should be mailed to convocation@jipmer.ac.in. Candidates should also bring INR 500 towards caution deposit on the day of convocation for hiring acadmic regalia (Gown and cap).
