In 2008, the Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology (NMIET) was established. The institute has been recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of the Maharashtra government and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi. NMIET is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune.
The institute offers four courses at the undergraduate level. Undergraduate courses in computer engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering, electronics, and telecommunication engineering are among the options. Additionally, starting in 2019, the Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology (NMIET) offered Bachelor of Vocational (B.VOC) Courses. B.VoC courses include Automotive Manufacturing Technology, Graphics and Multimedia, Software Development, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
