KIIT University, formerly Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is located in Patia, Bhubaneswar in the Indian state of Odisha. The educational University was established in the year 1992. It has been given official recognition by the UGC. The University accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ and it is accredited by NBA. It has been ranked as 16th in India, 5th among private universities, and 4th in the eastern region in the year 2009 by Times of India. The MBBS course is approved by the Medical Council of India and the Dental course is similarly approved by Dental Council of India.

Overall it's a good college but it has so many flaws . The faculty is great to be honest , they are well qualified but not everyone can teach, the thing is this here. Night life is so great but right now due to hostel hours we are not able to enjoy them.
