Established in 1996 by the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Group of Educational Institutions for Higher Learning, Easwari Engineering College (EEC) is a private, self-financing institution located in Bharathi Salai, Chennai. It was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a “A” grade. The college was approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and AICTE, New Delhi. The college was initially affiliated with the University of Madras, but since 2002, it has been affiliated with Anna University Chennai.
The college provides six postgraduate programs in management and engineering, as well as eight undergraduate programs. Every program has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation.
