Established in 1994, the Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering (DJSCE) is associated with Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM). The University Grants Commission (UGC) gave DJSCE its authority as an autonomous institution. DJSCE is officially recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of "A." Undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs are offered by the college. The University of Mumbai has a permanent affiliation with DJSCE. 

An accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation is granted to all eligible undergraduate programs. Additionally, India Today consistently ranks DJSCE in the top 10 private engineering colleges in the nation, and numerous other rating organizations place it in the top 100 engineering colleges nationwide.
