The Global Equities Technology stack at J P Morgan is going through a strategic transformation (front to back). This is a multi-year program where the India Tech teams are involved heavily.  The technology stack used is predominantly Core Java, C# .NET, C++ and Sybase. We are hiring in the areas of Front Office, Middle Office, Risk Management and Client Intelligence Technologies.

Job Description :

  1. As a developer you will participate in database design and development.
  2. Participate in design and code reviews, incorporate performance requirements into design, and provide input to information/data flow.
  3. Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines.
  4. Incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications.
  5.  Identify applicable system platform, components, dependencies, document application specifications.
  6. Analyze performance issues and resolution recommendations


Mandatory Skills: 
 
  1. Core Skills
  2. Strong RDMS orientation and concepts,
  3. Must be hands-on of Oracle 11/12 or above, performance tuning and UNIX shell scripting.
  4. Strong concept of data modeling and experience in working with huge transactional systems.
  5. Working experience in PL/SQL would be an added advantage.
  6. Must be good with Stored procedures
  7. Sound knowledge of enterprise SDLC standard process and aware of tools like Liquibase
  8. Hands-on with Unix scripting skills.
  9. Exposure to Autosys/Ctrl-M is a must.
  10. Aware of Database warehousing concepts.
