ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (VPKAS), Almora, Uttarakhand, India is a head foundation of Indian Council of Agriculture Research possessed with slant cultivating investigation for North-Western Himalayan territory of India. It is a multi-crop and multi-disciplinary foundation. It has so far released more than 140 collections of 25 items. Some of these combinations have been released by Central Varietal release committee (CVRC) for various parts of India, beside the request zone.
