Candidates age limit should be not more than 50 years as on 01-01-2016. Upper age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates as per Govt. rules.
Candidates should possess M.D (Anesthesiology)/ M.S (Anesthesiology), PhD (Human Genetics/ Applied Molecular Medicine/ Biotechnology. M. D. Biochemistry/ MD (Criteria Care)/ MD (Medicine), D.M. (Neurology), M.D (Pathology), M.Ch (Surgical Oncology) for Post 1, D.M. (Immunology)/ M.D (Immune-Hematology & Blood Transfusion, D. M. (Cardiology), M.D (Social & Preventive Medicine, M.Sc in statistics and relevant subjects for Post 2 with relevant experience
Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format (three copies) along with bio-data, supported certificates, testimonials & reprints of publications to Prof. A. G. Ahangar, Director SKIMS & Ex- Officio Secretary to Govt on or before 25-09-2016.

About  SKIMS: 
Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Medical College additionally truncated SKIMS, is a quickly developing therapeutic school of Jammu and Kashmir in Indian condition of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the three government-run medicinal universities of state other than Government Medical College Jammu and Government Medical College Srinagar. It is situated in the edges of Srinagar on the Srinagar-Baramulla roadway. At first the school was secretly overseen by Muslim medicinal trust. In those days it was named as Jehlum Valley College of Medical Sciences. The state government assumed control over the school in 1998. The school then turned into an under-graduate therapeutic school of the SKIMS (regarded college) Soura and was named as SKIMS MC. The school used to concede 50 understudies each year however from the year 2013 MCI has allowed an endorsement for conceding 100 understudies a year. The confirmation in school is made through JK Common Entrance Test held by BOPEE consistently.
