Candidates age should age should be 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Candidates should possess Law Graduation for Post 1, Master's degree in Economics/ Mathematics/ Agricultural Economics/ Commerce with Statistics for Post 2, B. Tech. degree in Computer/ Information Technology/ Mechanical Engineering/ B. A degree and LL.B degree for Post 3, M.Com. Degree/ B.Com. with (ICWA) for Post 4, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any stream with minimum 60% marks, Passed matriculation examination with Punjabi, Computer course for Post 5.
Candidates will be selected based on competitive examination.

About PPSC:
Joint public service commission, the precursor of the punjab public service commission, with its writ running from the khyber pass to the jamuna near delhi, was born at lahore on may 1,1937. in the wake of the partition, the punjab public service commission resurged in february, 1948, at shimla with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then province of east punjab. following the merger of the states of punjab and pepsu, it shifted to patiala on nov.1st,1956. on 1stnov1966, its territorial jurisdiction again decreased due to the formation of the states of haryana and himachal pradesh.
