Job Notification in National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH),Ahmedabad has released notification for the recruitment of Accounts Officer, Office Assistant, Stenographer, Upper Division Clerk vacancies on regular basis. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed format on or before 18-08-2017.

1. Accounts Officer: 01 Post
2. Office Assistant: 04 Posts
3. Stenographer: 04 Posts
4. Upper Division Clerk: 01 Post.
Candidates age should not be exceeded 35 years for post 1, 2, between 18-27 years for post 3, 4 as on the last date for receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ Ex. Servicemen candidates and for Government Servants in accordance with the instructions issued by the DOP&T from time to time in this regard as per Government norms.
Candidates should possess minimum three years Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognized University for post 1, 2, 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with Computer Literacy for post 3, Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer for post 4.
Based on written test, skill test in shorthand/ typing speed, interview/personal discussion.
Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for Post 1, Rs. 300/- for post 2, 3, 4 through Demand Draft payable to the Director, National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates.Eligible candidates may send their signed application in the prescribed format, affixing recent photograph on it along with self attested copies of certificates to The Director NIOH,Meghaninagar,Near Raksha Shakti University,Ahmedabad-380016 on or before 18-08-2017.
About NIOH:
The National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH), Ahmedabad, was established by the Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi. The Institute started functioning as Occupational Health Research Institute(OHRI) at the B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, in the year 1966. The OHRI was rechristened as National Institute of Occupational Health(NIOH) in 1970 and moved to the present premises. To cater local needs of the Southern and Eastern regions, the Institute established two Regional Occupational Health Centres (ROHC) at Bangalore (1977) and Calcutta (1980).
