Candidates upper age limit should be 33 years as on 31-07-2017. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ ST & OPH candidates as per Government of India rules.
Candidates should possess A Postgraduate Medical Degree viz. MD in Laboratory Medicine/ Pathology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry from a recognized University/ Institute for Sl No. 24, a recognized post Graduation Degree in Emergency medicine will also be considered eligible along with the department specified for (Trauma and Emergency Department), MDS from a recognised university for Sl No. 30. Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Candidates should pay fee Rs. 1000/- for General/ OBC candidates through demand draft in favour of AIIMS Patna, Payable at Patna. No fee for SC/ ST, OPH and women candidates.
Eligible candidates may send their dully filled application with Self attested copies date of birth certificate, Medical council registration certificate, MD/ MS/ DNB/ Ph.D/ DM/ M.Ch Certificate, Caste certificate/ OPH certificate (if applicable) in an envelope should be super scribed with Application for the post of senior resident (Department) through Speed Post/ Registered Post to the Dean, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Phulwarisharif, Patna (Bihar), Pin- 801 507 on or before 27-06-2017 by 05:00 PM.

About All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna :

AIIMS Patna is the vision of the Honble Prime minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee who decided to give to the nation six regional AIIMS with the mandate to provide the most modern healthcare to the last man in the queue at affordable cost. Also, AIIMS Patna was created by the ordinance dated 16 July, 2012 and then the Act (Amendment), 2012 on 2nd July, 2013.The work started in 2010 with construction in six packages by the Project Monitoring Unit of the MoHFW under six packages and is referred to as AIIMS project. The project management at individual sites was done by a Superintending Engineer on behalf of the MoHFW, the DPR, the project consultant and the contractors till date. The IPD, OPD and trauma center of the hospital is still to be made available to AIIMS Patna.
