Job notification in Haryana Power Utilities (HPUs) has invited a recruitment notification for 154 post of AE (Electrical, Civil) Cadre Through GATE 2017 Score. Applicants should not be less than 20 years and not more than 42 years as on 31-08-2017. However, the upper age-limit is relaxation applicable.
Applicants should have completed Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology in Concerned Disciplines from a recognized university or Institute. For Posts wise eligibility criteria details reach the official notification.
Eligible candidates will have to take a GATE 2017 Score Card and Interview conducted by HPUs.
Applicants pay fee Rs.500/- for Male(General) Category. Rs.125/- for Female/BC/SC/EBC/ESM reserved category candidates & No Fee for PWD Candidates. The application fee should be deposited through demand draft drawn in favor of AO/Cash, HVPNL, Panchkula? Payable at Panchkula. Candidates who fit the eligibility criteria can download the prescribed format application form from the official website www.hvpn.org.in and then send the application to Deputy Secretary HR&SR (Recruitment Cell) HVPNL,Room No.230, First FloorShakti Bhawan, Sector-06,Panchkula on or before 31-08-2017.

About HPUs :

HARYANA is one of the forerunners to initiate reforms in its power sector in 1997. Pursuant to these reforms the State Electricity Board was unbundled and reorganised on August 14,1998. Two wholly State-owned Utilities were established to independently perform the functions of generation, transmission and distribution of power. Subsequently, two more Utilities were created for looking after power distribution.
