Applicants age should not more than 35 years as on 01-07-2017. Upper age-limit is relaxable as per government rules for different categories.
Candidates should have Posses MBBS Degree with PG Degree/Super Specialty Degree/DNB/PG Diploma in the concerned Specialty & Must have served as House Surgeon (CRRI) for a Period of not less than 12 months. For Posts wise eligibility criteria details refer official notification.
Based on no written or oral examination for these posts as far as this walk-in selection is concerned. The walk-in selection will be based on the marks scored (in percentage up to two decimal) by the candidate in PG Degree/Super specialty/ DNB/PG Diploma (as the case may be) in concerned Specialty/Super specialty as per the communal roster, duly following the rules of reservation of Government of Tamil Nadu. The selected candidates will have to appear for a Special Qualifying Examination at a later date in order to regularize their services.
Application fee pay Rs.750/- for Unreserved Category & Rs.375/- for SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH) reserved category candidates. The Application fee should be pay through online mode during filling online Application Form.candidates who fit the eligibility criteria can apply online only through the official website of the TN MRB, www.mrb.tn.gov.in between 20-09-2017 to 10-10-2017.

(Ms) No.1, Health and Family Welfare (C2) Department dated 02.01.2012 with the objective of making appointments to various categories of staff in the Health and Family Welfare Department by way of direct recruitment, in a speedy manner, keeping in view the nature, importance and essentiality of these posts. The Medical Services Recruitment Board started functioning with effect from 06.02.2012.
