Job Notification in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the recruitment of 279 Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Tutor, Lecturer & Medical Physicist vacancies in various disciplines on direct recruitment basis. Eligible candidates can apply online from 01-04-2017 to 01-05-2017.

Candidates upper age should be not exceed 58 years for Post 1 & 2, not exceed 50 years for Post 3 to 5, not exceed 35 years for Post 6 as on last date of submission of online applications. Age relaxation 05 years is applicable to SC/ ST, PWD, Government Servants.
1.A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)

2.A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

3.M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Candidates should pay Rs. 1000/- (non refundable) for General & OBC candidates in form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of AIIMS PATNA payable at Patna or sent through NEFT in the Account No. 579310110002528 (IFSC code: BKID0005793 Account Name: AIIMS Patna). No fee for SC/ ST/ PH and women candidates.

Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.aiimspatna.org from 01-04-2017 to 01-05-2017 till 05.00 PM & send their hard copy of application along with self-attested copies of all relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification, experience, Demand Draft in original & envelope should be superscribed with Application for the post of for Department of through Speed Post/ Courier etc should reach to AIIMS Patna on or before 08-05-2017 till 05.00 PM.

About All India Institute of Medical Sciences:
An Act of Parliament in 1956 established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as an autonomous institution of national importance and defined its objectives and functions. By virtue of this Act, the Institute awards its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions. The degrees awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.
